Inspired by the idea of a “sterling reputation,” this name reflects a consistent standard of quality, reliability, and trust. It draws from the reputation of both the Foote & Stoddard Livery and the Stoddard Grocery, established by George Stoddard and Florence E. (Dean) Stoddard, Ryan’s great grandparents, in the 1920’s and continuing into the 1940s. Two successive generations of business rooted in the same location (4th and Cleveland), capturing the spirit of early Colorado, and the integrity associated with the family’s work, both then and now.
